Sumbawa, Unspoiled Destinations of West Nusa Tenggara

Sumbawa located in West Nusa Tenggara, so don’t be confused with Sumba in East Nusa Tenggara. Although Sumbawa is less popular than Lombok, but the island has many natural and unspoiled tourist destinations.

Here are some photos from my trip to Mantar Village at West Sumbawa, Kenawa Island in Sumbawa Strait, Moyo Island with it’s beautiful waterfall, and Salt Lake of Satonda Island.

Getting There

There are daily flights from Denpasar (Bali) to Sumbawa and Bima. You can also traveling overland to Sumbawa from Mataram (Lombok) with ferry crossing at Kayangan Harbour to Pototano. There are available night bus every day from Mataram to Sumbawa.
